Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal continued his extraordinary rise on Wednesday night as he produced a phenomenal individual performance in his team’s Champions League semi-final draw with Inter Milan.

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said on Friday that Lamine Yamal must work hard and continue to replicate his Inter Milan performance to reach the level of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Yamal made his 100th Barcelona appearance on Wednesday - at the same age, Messi had just seven. Jamie Carragher echoed Henry’s Messi comparison, and believes that Yamal is already among the best players in Europe, comparing him to other stars in prolific Man City striker Erling Haaland and Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe.
