The Phillies acquired right-hander Daniel Robert from the Rangers for minor league pitcher Enrique Segura on Thursday.

The Philadelphia Phillies made a trade on Thursday morning, completing a deal with the Texas Rangers to acquire a right-handed pitcher, Daniel Robert. Robert, who looks to be part of a team that could use the pitching, especially in the bullpen, will hopefully be a difference maker for the Phillies eventually.

The Phillies have acquired right-handed pitcher Daniel Robert from the Texas Rangers in exchange for right-handed pitcher Enrique Segura. Robert was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski made the announcement.
