A ‘BARELY visible’ man driving an e-scooter on the A131 at night has had his vehicle seized by the police. On July 9, while going to a separate incident, Essex Police officers saw a man riding a privately-owned e-scooter on the A131 near Braintree. The road was dark, unlit and there was a 60mph speed limit.
