A Massachusetts man accidentally bought two identical tickets for the same Powerball drawing and ended up with a pair of prizes, each worth $1 million.

Fitchburg resident Paul Corcoran won two separate $1 million jackpots in under a week, Powerball announced in a Tuesday, July 15, press release.

Paul Corcoran, a Fitchburg resident, bought two separate Powerball tickets with the same numbers for the July 9 drawing that each won $1 million before taxes. The first was bought at a Fitchburg Market Basket, and the second came from Country Farms on North Main Street in Leominster.
