Forty-year-old Stephen Martinez's bright orange Carlos Correa jersey has been collecting dust for four years. But on Monday, the lifelong Houstonian dug it out of his closet and put it on.

Carlos Correa and Alex Bregman were back at Daikin Park on Monday -- Correa making his triumphant return after a recent blockbuster trade that brought him back to Houston from Minnesota, and Bregman for the first time as a visitor.

The nostalgia factor doesn’t end in the home team’s dugout, though. The Astros will be playing the Boston Red Sox, who signed another Houston star after the 2024 season: Alex Bregman.
