The former NBA standout said the Dallas Mavericks should trade the rights to No. 1 draft pick Cooper Flagg in a potential deal for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Devin Booker or Tyrese Maxey. The Mavericks won the NBA Draft Lottery Monday night and thus the rights to the 6-foot-8 Flagg in the Draft on June 25.
The Phoenix Suns, even if they trade away Kevin Durant, are still in a dire need of a rebuild. With no draft capital, limited financial flexibility, and a meddling owner who wants to do things his way, the Suns, at best, will be competing for a play-in tournament spot for the next several seasons, because tanking simply isn't worth it.
