When the Jacksonville Jaguars traded for defensive tackle Khalen Saunders, they weren’t just adding another name to the depth chart.

Two people familiar with negotiations say two-time Super Bowl champion defensive tackle Khalen Saunders is being traded from New Orleans to Jacksonville for center Luke Fortner.

The addition of Saunders will provide needed depth to the defensive tackle position. Listed at 6-0 - 324 pounds, Saunders offers another run-stuffing presence inside and could fill a rotational role behind DaVon Hamilton.
