Sunderland complete the signing of Senegal midfielder Habib Diarra in a reported club-record £30m deal from Strasbourg.

Sunderland have signed Senegal midfielder Habib Diarra from French club Strasbourg, the Premier League club said on Tuesday.

The young Portuguese striker will return to Wearside after spending last season with Juventus’ second team. Hemir netted just two goals in 27 appearances and there is no permanent deal in the offing.
