Jose Angel Arranz, the Director General of Natural Heritage in Castilla y Leon, said on Wednesday (July 30) that arson is suspected to be the cause of Spain's Avila wildfire.

A timelapse graphic showed a wildfire approaching Plowshare Peak, California on Friday (August 1) into Saturday (August 2).
