Wolf Fire initially started 3:09 p.m. June 29 in Riverside County, California. Since its discovery four days ago, it has burned 2,414 acres. A fire crew of 969 succeeded in containing 65% of the fire as of Thursday evening. However, the cause is still being investigated.

As of Tuesday afternoon, just the Wolf Fire in Riverside County still had mandatory evacuations in place. Three of the seven were still at 50% or less containment and burned more than 20 acres as of Tuesday. Located near Banning, the Wolf Fire has burned about 2,414 acres since it started on Sunday afternoon. As of Tuesday, containment was at 40%.

Wildfires in Riverside County prompted evacuations and road closures on Sunday afternoon as residents phoned 911 due to heavy, drifting smoke.
