Texas A&M bolstered an already stout 2026 recruiting class with its first five-star commitment of the cycle Thursday as athlete Brandon Arrington selected the Aggies over Oregon. Arrington, the No. 10 overall player and top-ranked athlete in the 247Sports Composite rankings,

Arrington is a two-way player at Mount Miguel High School, playing wide receiver and cornerback. He caught 57 passes for 527 yards and five touchdowns on offense while collecting 26 tackles, three PBU's and one interception on defense in 10 games, per MaxPreps.

In Mike Elko’s second full recruiting class, Texas A&M is building another monster as the Aggies load up on talent in 2026. As of June 19, the Aggies have 18 commits in their 2026 recruiting class, seven of which have come in the past month.
